Providing Capacity Building Measures to Multipliers at Dual System and Technical Secondary Schools. The Project Technical Support for the Comprehensive Technical Education Initiative with Egypt (TCTI) works jointly with the Egyptian Ministry of Education and Technical Education (MoETE) to improve technical education in Egypt. The assignment falls within the improvement of conditions at dual system schools aiming to support the sustainability and sound implementation of the quality management processes at previously and newly supported school as well as to provide direct training and coaching support to the previously supported 47 schools and middle management staff at the MoETE. The main tasks of the assignment are Situational analysis; Delivery of training and coaching sessions to first groups multipliers; Providing training to previously supported schools; Providing Capacity Building Measures to Middle Management Personnel at the MoETE as well as identification of and training a new group of multipliers.

Comparative research on skills assessment frameworks and tools in Egypt and main countries of destination. In the frame of the “Towards a Holistic Approach to Labour Migration Governance and Labour Mobility in North Africa” (THAMM) programme and under the second specific objective SO2: mechanisms for assessment, certification, validation and recognition of migrants' skills and qualifications are improved, the assignment was designed to support the strengthening of national skills assessment frameworks and tools for Egyptian labor migrants to meet occupational standards of potential countries of destination. The activities include: Review and summarize existing research studies providing information on Egypt’s skills assessment frameworks and tools; Highlight gaps in the Egyptian skills assessment framework, tools and/or practices, and recommend enhancement modalities; Identify private sector actors engaged in skills assessment and recommend potential partnership; and develop a plan for the development of assessment frameworks and tools in Egypt to facilitate skills recognition by selected countries of destination

NWFE’s Energy Pillar – Scoping Study on the Workforce Implications of the Green Energy Transition. EBRD The primary objective of the assignment was to evaluate the impacts of decommissioning of 12 fossil fuel assets/power plants, by the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC), on the workforce within these power plants, as well as to review and assess the procedures followed by EEHC during decommissioning process. The outcome and findings are designed to guide EEHC in shaping its workforce redeployment strategies and in designing up-/re-skilling initiatives to enhance market-relevant skills and employment opportunities for affected workers.

Develop a Reform Concept and Budgeted Action Plan for promoting Gender Equality in the Egyptian TVET System. GIZ Egypt The assignment aims to understand the underlying causes of gender inequalities in the Egyptian TE System at the various level (macro, meso and micro) and the key factors contributing to these inequalities. The primary objective of the reform concept is to promote gender equality in the four tracks of the Egyptian TE system. The outcome and findings are designed to guide MoETE addressing gender gaps and barriers within the TE system and enhancing opportunities for female TVET students and graduates.
